The Getariako Txakolina vineyards are located on the most beautiful slopes of Getaria, Spain, and have been produced by the same family for 5 generations. It’s a slightly sparkling dry white wine made from several grape varieties. Its fruity taste is very pronounced and well-balanced.

Txakoli is a sparkling, thirst-quenching white wine that was originally made within the family and drunk while working in the fields.
Made from several grape varieties nestled on the most beautiful slopes of Getaria, just outside San Sebastian, the Ameztoi vineyards of Getariako Txakolina have been produced by the same family for 5 generations.
Slightly pearly and tangy, txakoli is a dry white wine that has become a must in the Spanish Basque Country and is protected by a Denomination of Origin (Denominación de Origen). Indissociable from pintxos and tapas, it can be found on every table at festive occasions. It goes wonderfully well with grilled fish (turbot, sea bass, etc.), shellfish and white meats and is served in the region’s finest restaurants.
Note that txakoli should always be served chilled and aerated. Hold the glass lower than the bottle when serving (practice makes perfect!).
