Handcrafted in our kitchen in Espelette, in the heart of the Basque Country, our Gros sel with Espelette chilli pepper is the perfect combination of Espelette chilli pepper and  high quality Guérande coarse salt.
It’s ideal for seasoning and adding flavor to grilled meats: beef ribs, lamb chops or grilled seafood, it will melt in your mouth. Its crystallized, crunchy texture is particularly sought-after for certain recipes: salted butter, salted butter caramel or even the preparation of the famous Padron pimento peppers a la plancha! Last but not least, our coarse Espelette chille pepper salt is ideal for long cooking times, cured meats and preparations in brine (water and salt). It can also be used to cook fish, meat or vegetables in a salt crust.
Mix with Greek yoghurt or crème fraîche for an original, spicy dip, perfect with fresh vegetables as an aperitif.
