A FAMILY VISIT

During the pimento season

With your family or friends, come and discover the Espelette pimento pepper. A discovery circuit that takes you into a field that displays the different stages of production: from the seed to the ground spice. In this maze of plants, have fun answering the piquant questions posed by the farmer, Ramuntxo. When the questionnaire has been filled in and corrected, it’s time for a well-deserved tasting session!

With your family or friends, come and discover the Espelette pimento pepper. By visiting our farm and watching our film, you will discover the different stages of production of the Espelette pimento pepper. The visit ends with a surprising and spicy tasting session!

Discovery visit - children

From mid-May to mid-November, an entertaining discovery circuit in our field with a fun questionnaire to enable children to discover the different stages of production of the Espelette pimento pepper. Answers are checked and the children are rewarded by tasting some of our delicious products.

In bad weather and/or outside this period, a video accompanied by an oral presentation recounts the different stages of production of the Espelette pimento pepper. This is followed by a tasting session.

“Taloa” workshop

After discovering our farm and products, you will learn how to make two Pintxos that suit your taste and mood. You select and prepare the ingredients, then cook and create your mini “Talo”. The activity ends on a high note with a glass of Txakoli (slightly sparkling, dry white wine) served with your Pintxos.

“Roll up your sleeves and get kneading” workshop

“Cooking à la plancha” workshop

Rustle up you meal from A to Z with our plancha griddles! After discovering our farm and products, you will have the opportunity of discovering how to cook à la plancha. From starters to dessert, our house chef will let you in on the secrets of his recipes and give you some expert tips. Aprons on and get griddling delicious Espelette pimento pepper dishes from here and elsewhere!
